Docs Navigation Open
First Project
Build one small real site first so the core pieces of Evolution CMS become concrete.
Your first Evolution CMS project should teach the content model, not every advanced feature at once.
Good First Scope
- homepage
- about page
- services or products page
- contact page
- a small listing section such as news, docs, or portfolio
What to Practice
- create a small resource tree
- assign one or two templates
- attach TVs only where needed
- render one listing with DocLister or a simple custom query
- set up menus, URLs, and metadata
Suggested First Extras
- DocLister for lists
- eTinyMCE or eCodemirror depending on the editing role
- sGallery if editors need image attachments
Target Outcome
By the end of the first project, the team should understand resources, templates, TVs, chunks, snippets, and how the tree drives navigation and output.
