Follow releases and changelog notes closely so upgrades are planned instead of guessed.
Release notes and changelog entries are operational documents. They tell you what changed, what may break, and what should be verified before production updates.
Read Them Before You Upgrade
- check for breaking changes
- check installer or migration changes
- check PHP and package compatibility notes
- test locally before touching production
Why They Matter
A stable upgrade process starts with reading the changelog, not with clicking update out of habit.
