How the Second Evolution CMS Stream Topic Was Chosen

A small community and video note about shifting from a broad live stream format to a narrower question-and-answer topic format.

After the first public stream, the next step was not simply “do another one.” The feedback suggested something more useful: choose one narrower topic and structure the session around focused questions plus prepared examples.

Even though this is a small archive note, it captures an important community lesson: better educational content often comes from tighter scope, not longer sessions. That makes it a useful companion post inside the video timeline instead of a throwaway announcement.

Why the format changed

  • the first stream covered too many things at once
  • a smaller topic makes live teaching clearer
  • viewers can prepare better questions in advance

Why this note belongs in the archive

  • it explains how the video format evolved after the first stream
  • it gives context for why later sessions became more focused
  • it helps the educational timeline feel intentional instead of random
