When getResources Is the Better Fit Than Quip

In many cases, yes. Tools like Quip solve discussion and commenting workflows, while getResources is much better when the real problem is listing, filtering, or templating normal resources.

When getResources Wins

  • the content already exists as resources
  • you need flexible template output
  • sorting, limiting, or grouping matters more than interaction
  • you do not need threaded comments or user-generated discussion

The lesson is simple: choose the smallest tool that matches the job. Projects get harder to maintain when an interaction addon is used as a general content layer.
