Using the Cirkuit TinyMCE Skin in Evolution CMS
An extras-style note about bringing the Revolution default TinyMCE skin into Evolution CMS for a more polished editing experience.
The Cirkuit TinyMCE skin gave Evolution CMS managers a cleaner editor appearance and helped narrow the visual gap between Evolution and Revolution setups of that era.
What the donor package provided
- an archive for automatic installation into the site root
- manual installation instructions for older Evolution versions
- skin activation through TinyMCE configuration or manager settings
Manual install summary
- copy the
cirkuitskin directory into the TinyMCE skins folder - set the TinyMCE skin value to
cirkuit - on newer builds, use the TinyMCE interface settings instead of editing the init file manually
