Showing the Source Page for Latest JotX Comments
A practical JotX listing tweak for sites that want recent comments to work as a useful navigation block, not just a raw activity feed.
A latest-comments block is much more useful when every comment can lead the visitor back to the page where the discussion happened. Without that context, the block becomes little more than floating comment fragments.
Typical starting point
[!JotX? &action=`lastcomments`!]
The output template shows comment title and content, but on its own that does not tell the visitor where the comment belongs.
Better pattern
Include a link back to the resource URL or resource title in the latest-comments template. That turns the widget into a navigation aid and makes recent discussion actually explorable.
This small improvement matters on content-heavy Evo sites where comments should help surface interesting pages, not just display isolated snippets.
