Refreshing the Evolution CMS Manager with MODxCarbon

Manager themes may look cosmetic, but they often improve perceived usability more than teams expect.

This donor release refreshed the standard Evolution CMS manager theme and login screen with a more polished visual layer. It did not try to rebuild the manager workflow from scratch, which is exactly why such theme packages are useful.

What a Theme Refresh Can Improve

  • Readability of the manager UI
  • Visual consistency on the login screen and dashboard
  • Perceived quality for teams who spend hours in the backend

Extras like MODxCarbon matter because manager experience influences adoption. A cleaner backend does not replace structural improvements, but it often makes day-to-day work feel less dated on long-running projects.
