MobileTemplateSwitcher 1.4.1 for Evolution CMS: A Practical Mobile Routing Layer

MobileTemplateSwitcher 1.4.1 gave Evolution CMS sites a configurable way to split mobile and standard output.

Before responsive redesigns became the default answer to everything, many Evolution CMS projects still needed a clear mobile-vs-standard switch. MobileTemplateSwitcher 1.4.1 was one of the practical tools for that job.

The plugin combined browser detection, optional cookie behavior, URL overrides, and target node settings so a project could route mobile visitors differently without rewriting the whole site architecture from scratch.

As an ecosystem artifact, this matters because it reflects a real phase in web delivery strategy: separate mobile handling was not a theoretical idea, it was an operational need for many sites.
