evoSearch: Morphology-Aware Search for Evolution CMS

An ecosystem note on a search component that pushed Evolution CMS beyond simple substring matching.

Search quality becomes a real product feature as soon as content volume grows. evoSearch mattered because it pushed Evolution CMS beyond basic string matching and toward relevance-aware, morphology-assisted search behavior.

The project combined a morphological layer with a more thoughtful search strategy, making it especially relevant for languages where simple word-form matching is too weak.

Why it stood out

  • It aimed at relevance, not just raw matching.
  • It considered morphology instead of treating every word form as unrelated.
  • It offered a more serious search path for content-heavy Evo sites.

Historically, evoSearch is one of those ecosystem projects that showed how far Evo could be pushed when teams treated search as infrastructure rather than decoration.
