Fixing “No multiTV Definitions Set” After Installing MultiTV on an Evolution Build

If MultiTV installs cleanly but immediately says no definitions are set, the issue is usually in the TV configuration path or expected definition file.

The No multiTV definitions set message usually means MultiTV is present, but the configured TV input cannot resolve its definition source. That can happen after upgrades, custom build changes, or simply because the definition path is wrong.

What to verify

  • the TV input option points to the right MultiTV definition file
  • the included file is readable from the current manager context
  • the installed MultiTV version matches the build it is running on
  • custom manual installs have not left older fragments behind

When the manager error looks generic, focus on how the TV definition is being loaded. That is where this class of bug usually lives.
